Here is our "Top 10" footwear repairs most commonly thought not possible, but successfully completed by us on a regular basis:

10-ROCK CLIMBING SHOE RESOLE AND REPAIR
We have specialized equipment and use factory supplied rock-climbing-shoe lasts (the foot-like forms that determine the shape of the shoes). This enables us to resole and repair your rock climbing shoes like new. We use original Five/Ten Stealth C4 rubber or Vibram XSV 'extra sticky' rubber.

9-RESOLE OF DOC MARTEN'S
Docs can be very successfully resoled. We use a special process to remove the old sole, preserve the original fit and rebuild them using the appropriate type of Vibram brand replacement soles. Docs in almost any condition can be resuscitated. Clean, polish and shine are included.

8-BIRKENSTOCK REBUILD
We take apart your beloved Birk, keep the leather and buckles and fix them to a new cork footbed and sole. We also clean and recondition the leather.

7-REPAIR OF ATHLETIC SHOES
Since athletic footwear fits on your foot, we can fix it. Eyelets, hooks, rips in leather or fabric, professional clean, remove smells, complete resole, heel repair and lining repair. We also have a great selection of new insoles and footbeds.

6-MAKING SHOES AND BOOTS FIT BETTER
Stretching footwear and changing the fit is entirely possible. How much shoes or boots change in size depends on the type, the material it's made of and the area to be stretched. At the Quick Cobbler, we can also shorten the tops of boots to any desired length, install elastic gussets, zippers, lace eyelets or lace hooks, anything to make a better fit.

5-FIX CUTS AND SCRATCHES
Small cuts, nicks and scratches can be made nearly invisible and many other types of damage can be repaired almost nearly close to invisibly. Sometimes we can change the style of the shoes or boots to hide or remove the damage done

3-RESOLE 'FINN-COMFORT' AND 'BIRKENSTOCK' SHOES
Using the original factory-supplied soles, we hand-stitch your favourite Finn's and Birks back together. They'll look like new, only feel better, since they're already 'broken in'. We can replace the footbeds too. Try it, you'll like it!

2-TAP SHOES
Installing new taps onto your shoes, repairs, alterations, buildups etc. Give us your specific instructions and we'll customize those stompers for you.

1-RESOLING YOUR SHOES WITH 'AQUA-STEALTH'
The stickiest rubber on earth will make your chef-shoes stick to the greasiest floor and will make your wading boots and shoes non-slip on algea-covered river rock. For the best 'stick', have us resole your footwear with aqua stealth.
